What are your hours?

Lucent is typically open Wednesday through Saturday 10-6. However, hours may vary slightly and we are open by appointment only.

Where are you located?

Lucent is located inside of the Valhalla Building at 5306 Ballard Ave NW, Suite 226 Seattle, WA 98107. The entrance to the building is located between Anchorship Coffee and the Couch store. Take the elevator to the second floor and the studio is suite #226. The front door to the Valhalla Building stays open until 6pm, Monday through Friday. If you have an appointment after 6pm or on a weekend day, you can use the callbox next to the door to be buzzed in. Just dial “988 or Lucent-Stacie 988”. Please have a seat in the waiting area next to the elevator on the second floor and I will come get you at your scheduled appointment time.

Where is the best place to park?

There is ample paid and some unpaid street parking available nearby. There are paid parking lots within a few blocks of our location as well. The Ballard Landmark public parking garage is located on Leary Way between NW Vernon and 22nd Ave NW. There is a pedestrian exit onto Ballard Ave from the garage. Additional street and paid parking lots can be located on Shilshole Ave and Vernon. Unfortunately, at this time we do not offer validation for parking.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask that if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment to please let us know 48 hours in advance. Any cancellations or rescheduled appointments under the 48 hour window may be subject to a full charge of the missed or cancelled appointment. We appreciate your understanding in regards to this policy.

What is your return policy?

If a product you have purchased from Lucent does not work out for you. You are welcome to return or exchange the item within 14 days of the original purchase for the full amount. Gift cards are non-refundable.

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes! Lucent offers online gift cards that can be purchased directly through our Vagaro page. We also offer physical gift cards in studio that can also be purchased. Gift cards can be loaded with any amount and be used toward services or retail products. All gift card sales are final.

Do you take walk-ins?

At this time Lucent does not take walk in appointments and work by appointment only. However, there are sometimes day of appointments available. Availability can be viewed or to schedule visit our online Vagaro page.
